Hi, I'm Annie - The Side Hustle Mom.
After making big plans to be a television news anchor and spending lots of money to make it happen (a la college), I got married and gave birth to our oldest son a few months before my 24th birthday, which made me quickly change direction in terms of my career. Do I have to have previous experience to work from home?
EVERYBODY has to start somewhere, right? 6 years ago, I had never worked from home in my life, and less than a year later, I was making MORE money working very part-time online than I did as a full-time reporter. Obviously, incomes will be different for everyone (for example, reporters in small TV markets don't make as much as an RN or an engineer), but the point is that YOU too can work from home and make REAL money!
What kind of work-from-home jobs are even out there?
A common misconception about working from home is that one has to either join a multi-level marketing company (which I strongly advise against and discuss in the course) or own a business, but there are SO many other things you can do, including customer service, clerical and virtual assistance, sales, teaching, accounting, writing, and more.
If I take your course, am I guaranteed a work-from-home job?
Since neither Side Hustle Mom nor myself are personally affiliated with any other company, I cannot guarantee that you will be hired for everything you apply for.
